Pricing help on Rem 788

hi guys, wondering if someone can help me on pricing. I have a Remington model 788 in 243 a buddy wants to buy it and I don't know what the price range would be. Does anyone have an idea what these rifles go for?

Depending on condition from $150 to $600 (new in the box).

two weeks ago I bought a very nice 788 in 308 with an Elite 3000 3-9X scope for $330 plus GST

I've seen these sell for $450 in good shape, I remember when they were $84 brand new!
