It's really hard to get a sense of what a reasonable sale price is for any particular rifle and I'm no expert.

I have a Bushmaster .223/5.56 XM-15-E2S A3 16" flat top with removable carry handle. It doesn't appear these are made any more (?), but I bought this about 5 years ago from Williams Arms.

Also, following advice prior, I cut the front sight post for Service Rifle to use with a scope. How does this affect value now?

Any consensus on price RANGE from forum members? I have had inquiries on if I want to sell it, and I don't want to short myself.

Thanks in advance, people!

Personally since you hacked the front sight post off I would not consider buying it.
Whats the round count on the rifle?
With alot of questions remaining, I would say $1000-1200.
Nothing special about a Bushmaster.

Ya. I know, I just wanted some idea. I know I can replace the gas block (although it's not 'hacked'....it's quite a tidy job....) I figure the round count is 1500 to 2000.

It's never had a failed feed or eject or a breakdown but it's just a run of the mill AR.

:)

I have a co-worker selling, rather sold the same model, with the FSP.

Round count was about 2500 or so.

He bought it new about 2.5 years ago.

Sold it for $900 two weeks ago.

I was looking at it, but took a LNIB Glock instead from him.

Sold mine about 6 months ago with a much lower round count than either mentioned (about 500) for $1150.

I had the 11.5" A3 purchased abut 5 yrs ago for 950 USD. Sold it prior to crossing the border for about 1100 USD with an EOTech, probably 3000 rds,
