The only thing lacking in the Paragon is the shake awake, unless the holdover markings are important to you. But it is otherwise worth every penny. The GLx is definitely nicer than the SLx, way better eye relief and reticle size, but is essentially the same beast.

I ended up picking up the vortex spitfire AR (SPR-200) because that's what my LGS had in stock I was too impatient to wait for the GLx plus felt better giving my money to the LGS.
