Looking to get a primary arms 5x red dot. Its extremly well priced and that concerns me. Anyone have experience with them? Im using it for hunting on my .308. Its either that or a acog or eotech with magnifier.

I bought a Primary Arms 1-6 Scope with the ACSS 556 / 308 reticle. So far no problems, the glass seems clear for the money, and the bullet drop marks seem to be close with the ammo I'm using. I read somewhere that they are made in the same factory as Vortex products, so quality would be presumably similar.
Yes, they are probably the best value optic brand currently. Many of their optics are made in the same facilities as Vortex but spec'ed with better glues and materials. For the lower and mid price range they are a great option.

I have one of their 4-14x44 mildot ffp on my 22lr. A touch on the heavy side and the turrets get a touch mushier with regular use... but it's a decent optic at its price point.
Where did you find that deal at?
but It looks like they have a 3x left.Just curious if you considered the AR-536? I want a 1x/5x optic and was considering a red dot + magnifier but I can't seem to find any 5x ones. You said you were going that route as well, what would you mount a red dot on top of the PA unit
What i originally wanted was a acog. I was about to buy the eotech with magnifier because it was cheaper then the acog. But the PA prisim 5x had so much good feed back from the USA for the .308 AR it was hard to try anything else.
