Hello

So I've been looking for the right optic for my stag 10 .308. As it is I already have a few red dot sights as well as good traditional style rifle scopes so I'm looking for something different.

I like the LPVO option in the 1-6 and 1-8 range. I have heard and read a lot of good things about the Primary arms platinum series and am curious to hear from anyone who has experience with one. I really like the Griffen reticle as it offers a moa or mil based system as well as some of the features of their more BDC based reticles. Other options I was considering are the leupold mk6 1-6 and the razor gen 2 1-6.

Again I'd be happy to hear from anyone with a LPVO that I could consider.

Thanks for your feedback

Matt

When I looked at the Leupold Mark 6, i found a lot of people saying its bad and not worth it. I was so set on getting it until I read those reviews.

I ended up getting a Kahles 1-6. None of these are true 1x at the low end. Theres a guy that did a ruler test with the S&B and confirmed that it is not 1x. I did it with my Kahles and its also not 1x.
The K16i has absolute garbage turrets. I can hardly feel the clicks and there is no audible feel back at all. But other than that its great. Turrets is not something that I use after its been zeroed anyways. Its got amazing field of view.

Razor gen 2 1-6 is ok, but its features dont justify it's weight. I wouldnt get it.

I would still recommend the Kahles. Or check out Swarovski Z8i or Z6i. Also look at the S&B 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC.

Thank you for reply, I will look into those. Agree about the dials. I'm not looking for a scope to dial with. I dont feel that that's what 1-6,1-8 scopes were made for.
