Hi
I have a Primary Arms SLx Microprism scope. Looks good so far. Nice light and compact scope. Im using it on a semi auto rifle
My problem is the mount. It mounts very high above receiver and even with the adapters, doesnt sit far enough back for proper eye relief.
Anyone one using this scope have the same issues? Or am i misapplying it?

If you are using the 1x micro prism there is unlimited eye relief but I assume you are using the 3x micro prism. I had a similar issue with the 3x. I attached the high cantilever mount I still had an issue with the eye relief. I have an adjustable stock so I was able to move it one click forward to get close enough to the optic. The optic is great but the eye relief is not forgiving at all.

Here it is attached to a Ruger PC carbine. I have the stock fully collapsed for the photo.

Thanks for the photo! Are you still happy with the optic given what you now know about the eye relief and the required setup? I was close to ordering one of the 3x optics but this is giving me second thoughts.

Its an excellent little optic BUT there is a very limited eye relief. I really like it. You can not treat it like a 1x with unlimited relief. In my random sampling of 1 the max distance is 2 3/4 inches.

Thanks again - I'm going to try measuring out where the optic would sit + eye relief to see if this would work for me. I'd like to put this on a compact bolt gun (Ruger American Ranch).

Same issue with mine on my RDB-S. With the stock in the shorter of the two available positions I am able to crawl up on the receiver and get correct eye relief but it does require using the longest(and highest) mounting option, it would be better at an intermediate height but then I lose the needed cantilever length. The weight and size of the optic are fantastic though.
