primer differences

Enough diffrence to warrent, backing up and starting over.
Any change of any component or even a lot to lot change in a component, makes it necessary to take proper precautions, especially if your top ending your loads.

The rule of thumb that I was taught years ago when I started reloading was that a magnum primer would increase pressures about 10% over a standard pressure.
This can vary depending upon the powder & other factors.

As Lefty #### has said, any change in components means backing off and working up again. There can even be differences in powder from lot to lot. In mild to medium loads probably this is not an issue.
However when you get near the top, it does not take much to go over the top.

x2! Made up some loads for the 243. 95grn Noslor BT, over H4350 and Fed. 210 primers. worked up from Min to max load fine. Just the other day tried the same loads but with CCI 200 primers, Only got half way through my test loads and notice that the bolt was really hard to open! Safty first!! Good shooting!!
