primer photos

hey some of you guys know i thought there was an issue with the brass im using an the primers..
theres been a change from flattened primers to more rounded ones...

heres some pics.

What can you guys tell me about this... if anything?

hard to really tell in these photos, the ones that are rounded sit up a little more than the normal, an dont fill the primer hole like the flattened..

im not too worried just thought its odd... an thought there must be some kind of explanation..

Also you might have gotten Vegemite on the primers which caused the adverse reaction.

there are no signs of high pressure on the primers. if there were high pressure there the primers would flatten out and fill the primer pocket.

I agree with mg34, no sign of high pressure. Looks normal, some variation due to how hard the primer cups are.

Thanks for the replys, the only reason i ask was with the 270 cases when load developing i got the flatter primer when i was 1gr below max an decided to use that load, now im back usin the once fire whelen cases an the primer is givin me different appearance.. Its all the same bottle of powder an same packet of primers.. Same specs.
Anyway im not chasing fps an im sure this wouldnt b a moa charge, its a huntin load only an seems to b goin fine!
