I have been doing the primer pocket uniforming for years now and have had no issues with Winchester, Federal, Lapua, Remington etc. A few seconds on each case with the Lyman uniformer and the primer pockets are cut to the proper depth.
The Norma brass has very shallow primer pockets and the Lyman tool will not cut the pockets deep enough as the brass is extremely hard, even tried chucking the cutter portion in my hand drill and fast or slow it will not cut the final .002, .003 that I need. Thought maybe to tool was dull but tried a couple Winchester cases and had no problem with them.
Looking for advice on a better primer pocket uniformer, getting tired of buying multiple tools and finding out they don't work any better than what I already have!
