Okay guys, I have a question about primer flow with reloads, specifically with the S & W M&P 40. I'm shooting 135 grain Noslers, Win brass, Longshot powder(10.6 grain), and CCI 500 primers,c.o.l. 1.128-1.130.

Normally, with factory loads, they have a goofy primer indent, kind of a distinct tear drop with a bit of primer flow??(a slight smudge of metal to the bottom of the tear drop).

Now, with these reloads, I still get the teardrop shape, but the hole punched from the firing pin is much smaller, there's more of this flow.

Far as I can tell, the primer is not flattened, it is identical to factory, in the fact that the outer primer/inner primer pocket looks the same.

The headstamp is still readable, nothing different than before fired. It is ??x fired range brass though.Seeing this is actually a starting load with this powder, well .1 above, am I concerned over nothing??

It seems quite lively for blast/recoil. I'm sure anyone who has used Longshot knows what I mean. Any thoughts on this??
