Primer Prices = WTF???

Since when did rifle primers cost $45 + Tax?

I havent bought any for about a year but last I remember they were max $35/1000.

I can't believe this is a legit manufacturer price increas and have a feelin dealers are using recent events and the resulting shortages to their advantage here.

Getting sick of this kind of BS.....
 
BHICA , inflation shows it's head due to printing to much money to re-inflate the housing market in the US to keep the banks from folding.
Shortage created by hording due recent events, can be guaranteed that a conservative capitalist will take advantage of the situation, the really smart one's ( well they think they are ) create the shortage in the first place.

I just bought 27,000 of them in your neighborhood, price listed @ $35/K.
Dry your tears and search for Hummason Manufacturing. Talk to Brian.

Just paid $35/1000 for some here in Ottawa. Shotgun primers have gone up to almost $60/1000 some places for whatever reason but those are the same stores selling regular large rifle primers for $35/1000.
I'd buy from LeBarons for $30/1000 for rifle and $44/1000 for shotgun but they're always out of stock.
Some stores will mark up prices like crazy and hope some sucker buys them. Most people shop around until they find a reasonable retailer.

Sorry, don't believe economics can explain this one.

During a crazy shortage the price goes up, I get it, but the shortage is over, and dealers don't want to go back to honest prices.

I know where not to shop from now on, plain and simple...
 
well don't go to williams arms, they used to sell primers for $35 and now they are served at $45 plus some attitude!

Easy the dealers made their orders at different times & the prices changed from the manufacturer. Its not that difficult. If you don't like the price don't buy it.
