Primer prices . . .

It's been a loooong time since I've bought any primers and my stock of large rifle primers is running low. Assuming I can find them, what can I expect to pay for 1000 CCI 200 primers?

Thanks for the replies. My last box of large rifle primers (Win WLR) were $24.50/1000 . . . I guess it has been a while!

That was approximate......... give or take with taxes in so yes ...... $45 to $50 is about right (these days).

I keep buying Federal match primers from my local shop. They never have CCI, probably sell out long before I get there. I buy the Feds for $50/1000. Win were $7/100. No thanks.

That's pretty steep for Feds. They're usually $5-$8 cheaper than CCI where I normally buy my primers.

Stopped buy the local gunshop this morning. He had just received a shipment of primers, (CCI and Federals). The owner was complaining about the new prices he was being charged. New prices are going to be close to $70/1000 retail. This is NOT good news. I would suggest you shop accordingly.

That's interesting because I'm noting on the US websites that the prices of primers seem to be dropping and they seem to be more available than previously. $70/1000 is just plain gross.
