So with all the reloaders out there what primer gave you the best results.....I’m curious
In particular loading up 155’s...155.5’s and the 168’s
So here goes....I recently purchased a fn fnar in 7.62x51... using varget powder
And I descided to try Winchester primers (large rifle) ...and in other batch I tried the cci #34 (for 7.62)
My first batch with the Winchester primers yielded some good results ...the cci’s...ahhh so so
All my books say to used fed 210...fed m210
Any one care to share there experiences
Thanks davide

I use both the Winchester and CCIs, and notice no difference (I too use Varget). Happy with them both

But I don't go past 600-700 with my .308. Maybe past that, it might make a difference. Not sure.

I used Federal 210m (match) primers for years with 155’s and Varget. Switch to CCI benchrest last year. Have not noticed any difference.

I use CCI 200's for one rifle/load and Fed 210's for another rifle/load... I notice no particular benefit to either... whatever you work up, stick to that recipe as closely as possible.

I use federal 210 and 215 depends on the powder im using. i notice a huge differance using the 215 with win748. didnt notice any real advantage with match primmers.

Not to derail, but what were the differences?

The 215s are magnum primers, I think?

Edit: Lol I just re-read this post, and now understand what you meant. Not the physical difference between the two primers, but difference in velocity/accuracy/whatever between the two primers. Derp.
