I was given a huge amount of 9MM brass (IVI Military) when I bought my Hi-Power a few years ago, but have a problem with it.
The guy who gave it to me had swedged the primer crimp out so the were good to go.
The problem I am having is that out of 100 rounds loaded 7-10 primers fall out when they hit the catch tray on my Dillon.
I assume that this is because the pockets were over swedged?
I have been told that if I can keep a primer in long enough to fire it that the pocket will "fire form" and be fine after that. This doesn't sound like a really good idea to me...
Has anyone had this problem?
What can be done?
