I recently got a Forster priming tool and it has been great. In the past I have used a Lee hand priming tool for my accuracy loads and that works fine but it is a real hand breaker to do any larger numbers of cases.

With the Forster I have primed nearly 1000 cases in the last 4 days. I still have another 500 or so to go yet. This is the "not fun" side of reloading.
 
I picked up a used progressive with that same thing in mind if i get a 223 semi auto to shoot, Can even set it up for any of my varmint rifles if i do a large # of rounds at a time. I use a Lee hand tool and it`s good for 20-60 at one sitting but thats about all i do at a time with hunting loads. Perhaps it`s time for Suputin to hire a pretty young thing to help around the loading room.:D
 
I'm very happy with a Turret Lee press, no more reloading in batches. Before I used to have a few buckets for every caliber (dirty, clean unprimed, clean primed) now just clean and dirty :)

Now to be honest, I still reload in batches. I collect and clean cases all year. When time permits, I get my kids to sort them. (Admittedly overkill, but I have the time.) When I have a free weekend, I'll set up the press for processing cases. When it's once fired or range pick up brass, it goes through with the sizer and swager. Priming is a seperate pass through the press. The reason is simple. Periodicly I will find "ringers" or cases that have the tube section stuck in the primer pocket. They wind up getting munched at the swager station. It doesn't hurt the press, but kills a case that was useless anyway.

While bulk processing, I'm sitting beside the machine, listening for anything out of the ordinary.

Priming requires a little more attention, as the primer magazine needs to be filled every 100 cycles and the primer tube filler needs to be loaded and run.

Brass that has already been through the press is sized and primed in a single pass.

When I load ammo, it's with brass that's already sized and primed.
 
I pick up brass all summer and fall. ESP on sight in days at the range and the rounds I shoot myself throughout the year. I process brass all winter long. Something to do while sitting around watching movies. Deprime/resize on my press in the reloading room. Trim, de-burr, clean lube off, clean flash hole, uniform primer pocket, seat primer in the family room. Bag by brands in lots of 50. Then when I want to load, I can get there faster. Charge them, seat the bullet

I prob still have another 1500+ 223 brass to size, clean and prime. I will bring you beer and sandwiches while you do them for me. :)

I have considered a Dillon but there are a bunch of bills that need to be paid first.

It is all down to this project I am working on. With the testing we are doing, ammo consumption is fairly hefty. :(
