Talking about those little green squeeze things... How do you use it?

obviously you squeeze it, but how often, how loud, how fast?

i want to sound realistic, not like a dog chewing on a toy

also.... any thoughts on the mini phantom calls? I hunt smaller lots, so volume doesnt really bother me, most shots would be under 100yds
anyway

Just imagine you are a mouse and you just got hit by a hawk . Start with a lound burts and just think about how the hawk would be grabing you very easy to do dutch

The squeaker can be used to provide a different sound to coax a coyote you can see in closer, but I mainly use it when I hunt little meadows in the bush where I can’t see very far at all. I start out by just squeaking. The sound is low enough to not spook them and their hound dog ears can hear it a long ways if it’s not windy.

I glue Velcro to the bottom of the bulb squeaker and to the fore end of my rifle. When I’m hunting little openings in the bush I get set up where I’m going to sit, stick the squeaker on there and put the rifle in my shooting sticks. This way I can squeeze the bulb of the squeaker with my fingers while holding the rifle to keep movement down.

As far as sound sequences go, just make up a creature on creature murdering scenario in your head and then proceed to try and convince everything else out there that it’s actually happening.
Sometimes I’m very structured about the sequence and types of sounds I use, sometimes I just go absolutely nuts with the sounds of horrible dying going on, it can be a lot of fun

There are no rules.

I have one of those lil walmart predator calls with 4-5 sounds all digitalized. Not loud but I've called coyotes in over the 200)ard mark with against a 20km hour wind. I wouldntve believed it if I hasdnt seen the yotes turn look right at me and come running

I just bought one of those calls...I have a few yote calls now...cotton tail, a howler, and a female yote moan...The only one I have ever tried in the bush was the cotton tail...I just picked up the others so I will see what one works the best. You tube has a few videos on how to use the primos calls.
