Princess auto has aluminum cases on sale

Princess auto has lockable aluminum cases on sale for almost half-price - they are $12.99. I use one for a wireless mike I carry for my shows, and it is very solid. Not sure if they are still good for transport - they were at one time, but it's been over 20 years since I've had to transport a handgun.

The law hasn't changed. If it is opaque and lockable it is legal for transport.

I was playing with one of these in the store and no matter how many ways or times I tried I couldn't get the cheapo locks to actually stay locked. I bought one of theire plastic lockable cases instead and used my own lock.

Funny, I've been using one for a while now, for a mic, and it's fine.

I have a couple. If they are the one's I'm thinking of (have) they are great .. aluminum corners and frame, black plastic walls. All lock on the same key, lined with foam - but it will peel back so you can stuff your certs in, will hold 2 5 to 6" barrel semi autos. As mentioned above .. are about 8x11". Last time I was there though just before Christmas they had none of any size.

I went looking at the Newmarket location but found nothing. Maybe all sold.. the $4.99 ammo boxes were all sold out as well.

The locks make it a "no" for me. I am keyless with combo padlocks on my cases and combo trigger locks for the guns.
