Picked one up today. Looks good. All stainless with a plasic lid. Comes apart simply for cleaning. They rate them for 17lbs, I'm thinking 10lb batches would work good in it. Killing a pig on tues, wed/thurs will make some sausage with son's buck. Will post how well it works. I'm certain it'll be nicer than mixing cold rough grind by hand like we've been doing. :)

I picked one up the other day as well. Seems well made.
Princess Auto has a good selection of butcher equipment.

My dad and I are going to take a stab at making some goose sausage this year.
Had some made last year and was excellent.
Now that we both have Bradley smokers let the meat making begin!

I just asked my brother to pick one up for me on Sunday. My son was also complaining about cold hands.
We found a stuffer online this summer. Tried it out on Saturday making some goose pepperoni. Boy did it work slick.

I have the meat grinder and "grape press" style of sausage stuffer from princess auto and they have worked flawlessly over the last 4 years. might have to pick up a meat mixer as well.

The crank handle has a dog that fits on the paddle shaft and is screwed on with a knob handled machine screw, so easily removed. The other end the dog is spring loaded so a simple pull on the opposite knob depresses the spring so you can remove the paddles/shaft. Couldn't be much easier to disassemble. I'm pretty impressed, especially for the price. Plus, it's all stainless. Soap/water and a 5% bleach solution and bob's your uncle! :)
