I found the diopter / adjustable ocular focus setting process to be the most difficult of any optic I've ever tried. To me it is very difficult to find the 'right' setting. Ultimately I ended up trying to 'guess and check' while looking at a 150m gong with two eyes open. And then it didn't help that the adjustment moves during transport and/or shooting, which I didn't realize until it had moved a lot. Then I marked it with a silver sharpie, and now I put it back in the correct position every time I pick up the gun.
