private and dealer transfer time?

That doesn't matter. I'm not saying you did, but it's easy to photo shop an approval letter. I'm not willing to risk my business on a picture of a letter. I have to hear it from the CFO/CFC.

Just last week someone called asking why I hadn't shipped their gun and that they had the approval letter. When I called to verify the transfer I was told it still hadn't been approved and it had been flagged for review.


I'm not saying you'd do this, I just have to protect myself.

If you are talking to your CFO in the future I suggest you encourage them to fax approval letters. They usually only fax about 1/2 of them and then this happens.

how would i get the serial number? you and the cfo are the only people who had that until they sent me the letter...

but whatever, nothing i can do but wait.

Like I said, I'm not acusing anyone of anything, its just our policy not to ship until we've verified the information which we will do Monday morning when the CFC opens back up again.

Ordered restricted on Friday from dealer in Edmonton.
They must have started the transfer Friday pm (or Saturday being a dealer with electronic access.)
Today Monday, parcel shipped.

Great Service from P and D Ent., one of our sponsors here.

Now the daily tracking commences.
It will show unmoved (from Edmonton) for days and days
and then suddenly there will be four or five entries, processed Montreal,
then processed Ottawa, then Out for Delivery and then Attempted Delivery
(I'm at work weekdays) Left Card to Pick-up and only when I see this
AND the Post Office confirms to me that they have the parcel will I request
the ST-ATT.

Previous transaction, I saw the status Left Card to Pick-up around 1630. I called the CFO and
got a ST-ATT for Saturday. And surprise of surprises. It was NOT at the Post
Office. Not until the Monday. Had to get another ST-ATT. Luckily I was able to get through almost
immediately.
