I don`t know about the 54R, but for .45acp, S&B brass has primer pockets that have too much of an edge to them....My Winchester and S&B primers rarely seat properly....

I've been reloading some S&B X54r and it seems ok. Using a Lee hand primer to seat the Winchester primers.

S&B brass is great for reloading. Just need to ream/swage the primer pocket. Once.

I bought 100 prvi rounds, soft point. Shot the factory while i got all my loading stuff ready to go, some I have up to 7 reloads on no problem what so ever.

I will buy PRVI again for sure.
