Privi or S&B ammo in a 7x57?

Does anyone have experience hunting with Privi or S&B ammunition?

I have a modern 7x57 and I understand that these companies load their 7x57 ammo hotter than the U.S. companies.

Any feedback would be appreciated even if it is not specifically about the 7x57.

I'm interested in the bullet performance on game.

My hunting pardner swears by PRVI for his 7X57.
Several years ago one of his work mates gave him a case of 175 gr 7X57 Partizan and he has filled his deer tags using it for several consecutive years. The stuff groups very well in his 7X57 and mine as well.
If I recall he is getting about 2500 + mv out of his rifle.

In addition to the 2 mentioned, Norma also loads their 7x57 ammunition to modern pressures.

So does Igman. I have not used their 7x57, but was quite satisfied with their 8x57 ammo.


Edit - I just checked their website and it seems as though they no longer load 7x57, and even their 8x57 is only available in FMJ.

Prvi... that's all I use now. 173 grain soft points out of my Mausers.
It's fairly hot, and groups well.

I have shot a couple deer and one wolf with S&B 173 gr. 7x57 "cutted edge" ammunition. Performed as expected, one shot each. Its velocity is right about 2400 FPS out of my 20" barreled Brno, about 200 fps faster than Federal 175's and more accurate.
