pro mag archangel for the REM 597

Anyone installed one? I seen a couple of you tube videos installing the stock, and it looks like a good fit. I've read the one for the 1022 is kinda tight. I've got the 597 with a short, heavy barrel, I won't be installing the bayonet and I was wondering about the fit. What is the minimum length before I've accidentally built a restricted firearm? The collapsing stock can adjust possibly too short and make my overall length to short is what I'm wondering about.
 
We bought one for my sons 597. He is 15y and had it assembled in minutes. Looks good, although it is all plastic. I have a Ruger Sr-22 all decked out and his looks kinda toy-ish compared to the all metal Ruger. Don't slam the magazine in, or you'll be waiting 6 weeks for the warranty work to be completed! He loves it, though.
 
Regarding restricted.......I think my boys 597 is about 30+ inches collapsed so don't worry about restricted. His 597 is the one threaded at the end of the barrel. It is definitely longer than my collapsed, non-restricted SR-22.
