A few very reputable people here sell these drums, (you know who you are...) mind taking the time to instruct everyone on how to get reliable feeding? They are built well, just seem to need adjustment. Before someone ruins a $100 mag, it would be nice to see a seller give a little f.a.q. and walk-through on modding.

I am still waiting for a review that was coming shortly. It has been a while now. The reviews I read out of the states are pretty bad.

I tought Mystic in BC is getting a new shipment that was tested prior to arrived in Canada? hope it will work

I bought one over a year ago. The lips were plastic with some kind of chrome plastic plating on them which still had a lot of flash that needed to be trimmed off.:( After trimming and smoothing them out, I compared them to my Ruger factory mags and made some very small modifications so they matched up perfectly. After that I read the instructions.:p It stated that you needed to break this magazine in and for the first couple of hundred rounds you would have problems but to be patient and it would eventually start to work well. With the minor adjustments I made to the lips and after 300 rounds it did start to work well. It does jam once in a while but not very often now. The more it wears in the better it works and so far I am pleased with it. If you were expecting it to run perfectly from round one then you are in for a big disappointment. If you take the time to work it in like I did you will have some fun later on but its a mixed blessing as you really go through the ammo. Like "what happened to that brick, I just bought it yesterday:p."

This is more of what I was hoping for. They feel well built, so someone spent time thinking it through, I'm hoping some issues are simple fixes. I know mystic player was saying that the mag wells are quite different between the old 10/22 and new. Perhaps this difference is more pronounced with these mags.

Unfortunately, the real flaw is in the 10/22 castings. They do vary from run to run and that leaves owners with a bit of a crap shoot whether an aftermarket mag will or will not work. As was mentioned, try and duplicate the factory mag that came with rifle.

That is a big reason that TI mags have some adjustment using bolts to try and shim/angle the mag to work in more actions. It didn't do much for my action and does run quite well. But not as well as my BC hotlips and promag.

Many consider these mags the holy grail of hi cap 10/22 mags. From my perspective, not so much. YMMV.

The drums most certainly need a break in period and can be more fussy with respects to ammo fed. I would recommend the plated bullets over the exposed lead like from WIN. I have had this ammo cause trouble in ALL my mags.

Although not as common on the mags I have recently sold, you may find a sharp ridge or edge in the feed ramp casting. A bit of a polish with a dremel can really help. The drums are made out of a really strong composite similar to the TI mags so they are going to stand up to a lot of handling.

Ultimately, there is no way I can guarantee the drum works in every action with every ammo. But from the feedback I have received, they sure work more often then not.

i just received a mag from you the other day, i took it out last night , out of 50 thunderbolt rounds i was only able to load 7 or so, i did not lose my cool though , i tried 15 rounds 3 times in a row after and i only had maybe 3 jams with that, it really makes you wonder if man was really on the moon becuase he sure can't make a hi cap 22 mag, i will keep trying it over and over all put a million rounds through before i will give up but it really makes sense to use a jacketed 22 , all the rounds that were jamming was due to the lead half in the chamber half out, youd be surprised how far it defaced the 22 lead

I tried the mags in both my old mans brand new 10/22 and my old 2001 made 10/22 and the mags will not seat in either magwell. The feed lips are simply way too high to fit into the mag well. I suppose I could try and grind/sand down the feed lips but there isn't a whole lot of material there to begin with. Kind pisses me off I bought 4 of the things and can't use any of them.
