Jose always has some interesting stuff, although some of it has suffered at the hands of bubba.

This is probably the first one I've seen. I know some of you are looking for World War I Gew. 98s so check it out!

were do you people find these nice milsurps. im looks for ww1 era guns and everyone wants in the 300$ range.

As a side note. Last month at a gunshow I was talking to a collector of black powder military rifles and he showed me what he had bought that morning before the show opened. It was a Mark I Lee Enfield Cavalry Carbine with, get this, a Parker Hale 5A rear sight. It needed some TLC but it was a beaut. I said "do you mind telling me what you paid for it?" "No problem", he said "$100"! Nice deal sigh....

P.S. He bought it just for the bolt:-(

I just bought a German GEW98 from an estate sale. 1915. I thought it was a shooter in original configuration, but it is a beautiful dewat. I guess it'll spend the rest of it's life as a movie prop gun. Pics to follow next week when it arrives. Sadly it will be going for sale. Approx value? What are these going for these days?
