S o i got the Knoxx recoil reducing stock, sitting here and installing it but ran into a problem. The screw it came with seems about 1/4" too long, when its all the way tight (and I mean freakin tight) there is a gap of about a 1/4" between the stock and the gun and it just wobbles around.. What am I doing wrong? And yes I removed the spacer.

the issue is you have an inch bolt and a metric gun.
the bolt thats used is ok to fit but you may need to run a tap in that hole to open it up.
allso some shooters have stated that they have had this issue before and the threads were tight.

I bought the Knoxx NRS stock for my Grizzly and it went on perfectly. All I did was oil the bolt before putting it on to reduce any friction. It's a perfect fit. I used a vice-grip on the allen key to tighten it. Never force it though.

Also, if you want to install the knoxx foregrip, you have to cut it a bit, but be careful with the sliders.

Mine was loose. The bolt was too long as the stock attachment nut in the back of the reciever is not threaded all the way through. I have checked 3 other HP9/870's and they all have the nut threaded all or most of the way through. Mine is maybe halfway threaded. The boltis stuck in the nut and when I try to take the stock off the nut just comes loose from the reciever. I tried locktiteing the nut in place but that wasn't working so I shimmed the stock slightly for a tight fit and am going to order a new nut as I will probably wreck the nut threads removing it from the stock mounting bolt. I will then either trim a little off the bolt or thread the new nut all the way through if it is not already.
