Problem Need Advice

so i loaded up some test rounds for my Kimber 1911 in 45 acp last night
starting load was 4.4 grains of titegroup going up .1 grain at a time to 4.7 followed by a 230 grn berrys fmj using cci primers. today i went shooting and i started with the 4.4 and i was shooting left at the time a assumed it was me and took a break to calm my nerves a little then continued and still a little left which is weird for me so after the first set of 4.4 i picked up the brass and changed targets and noticed 1 side of the brass was black. i assumed that it was because of the low load which i have heard of before and i pressed on the 1 side of every case all the way up to 4.7 continued to be black and i was still shooting considerably left i then tried a few factory rounds and had the same problem continue. i shot some other guns and was shooting fine with them so i am wondering if something is wrong with the chamber in my kimber. can someone shed some light on this as to what is happening and why and if it is fixable or if i need to talk to a gunsmith. also i weighed every single load and checked everything very thoroughly so i am sure the loads were as exact as my scale will allow. and i never noticed anything odd while firing as far as feel.

also did that but not with the reloads and he isn't the best shot he just started shooting handguns this summer so it is hard to tell like i was grouping nice about 3" at 15 yards but about 6" left and maybe it has nothing to do with the black marks on the cases i just noticed both issues at the same time so thought they may be related i have also searched through the brass now as i tried to keep my brass seperate from all the extra range brass i brought home and it was a good day half a 5 gallon pale full of brass anyways i went through the brass and i had all my loads marked on the brass and not all of them have the black on one side some are fine
 
Check case runout on fired cases before sizing, easy enough to compare with a new or sized case with a vernier caliper.
 
I'm pretty sure the one side blackness on your cases are from remnants of unburnt gunpowder as the slide is starting to cycle and the cartridge being partially on it's way out. Not all firearms will do this as they all have their different designs and tolerences, nothing to be alarmed about. As for the POI a little to the left, check your grip and trigger pull. I'm no pro but these are things I've heard can have a bearing on this. If this doesn't work try making some adjustments on your sights or just holding a little to the right to compenstate. i have about 3000 rounds through it so ya its pretty new by no means old it should take way more then that and its been kept clean as a whistle at all times i have a feeling that my front sight has been nocked out as there is a scratch on it that i don't remember seeing and as long as the case being black on the one side is nothing to panic about i should be able to get it figured out thanks for the reply
