Problem solved, may be deleted now

It will accept most fully loaded mags on a closed bolt. You just aren't smacking them in hard enough. Give the bottom of that mag a hard smack upwards and you'll find that they will seat.

The issue sounds like it's the mags, not the rifle...

If a mag is pinned @ 5 such that the 5th round 'just' fits in, then there isn't any room in the mag for the 5th round to move down into the mag a little bit when the mag is inserted into the rifle with a closed bolt...

It's why you see guys posting that mags need to be pinned carefully @ 5.5 rounds... This provides that little bit of room for the mag to be seated on a closed bolt, but doesn't allow a 6th round to be loaded into the mag...

Cheers

This kind of problem can usually be traced to a new and stiff mag spring. The spring pressure is forcing the top round hard against the bolt, preventing it from latching. Test for a difference in the amount of force needed to push down with 9 and 10 rounds. It will get easier as the spring ages, but can often be 'cured' by cutting half a coil or loop from the bottom of the spring.
