Problem with Lar 15 Magazine

Hi everyone - I recently ordered the 10 pack of Lar-15 mags from Questar and finally today got out with the SU16 to try them out. I ran 5 rounds through each to try them out and all functioned flawlessly except for one. The one magazine chambered the first round correctly, but the second didn't. It hit below the chamber and punched the bullet right into the casing. Thinking it was a freak thing I tried again and same thing happened to the next two rounds. When I look at how the cartridge is lining up with the chamber it is easy to see the nose of the bullet is way low. Is there any way to adjust the magazine or is it just garbage?? Hate to just have to throw out a brand new $20 something magazine!

magpul followers. the ones the come in the questar mags are kinda crappy.
also, check your feed ramps on the rifle.

and if you find some followers let me know, ive been looking and cant find any.
 
I have 2 spare ones with ranger plates... will be on EE when I get back from course

Or just buy them from Brownells... 6 week wait... and they come in packs of 3 with followers and ranger plates....

In most cases yes, but I've found legit magpul followers on ebay. That's where I got mine. Seller was in the states. Followers and L/Ranger plates are about the only legit magpul merch you can find on ebay that can ship to Canada.

If you find them on ebay, and the seller is in the US, that you're likely good to go.
