So, was at my local and saw this thing on the used rack, 750 bucks later I walked out with it. Been shooting with LAR mags and every so often I get a FTE and once I got a double feed , this thing was barely used (Not even sure if I was the first to shoot it) The FTE's happened once every 15 to 20 rounds or so.

So, before anyone does a search online :)D) I know how to use pump action, I didnt do it softly. I have read that these problems will actually work themselves out after a couple of hundred rounds or so.

Looking for some people with enough experience with these things so I can know : Take it back now ? OR keep it and eventually the FTE will stop.

Since I got it on consignment , not sure I can even get a refund, also , it is the tactical model.

Thanks boys and girls.

Your FTE is that a fail to eject or a fail to extract?
Is the empty case getting left in the chamber when you work the action? If so I'd be looking at the extractor and the condition of the chamber.

Does the problem persist with all your mags? You could also make try tapping your mags like a pack of cigarettes so that all the cartridges are seated consistently towards the rear of the magazine.

Its my first STANAG mag set up (Specifically why I got it, there will be more in the future) And yeah, I tap em, it makes it out of the chamber, just stays within the receiver (Loose, so I can flick it out myself) So it is a failure to eject. Condition of gun front to back was pretty much brand new.

I only have the LAR mags, hence my post, before I go grab a different kind of mag, wondering if others experienced this problem.

No problem with my 7615 with LAR mags. And I didnt have to surf the net to tell you that - but I understand your comment! And I can work the action slowly and softly and get the same results ... if it locks up enough to fire ... it extracts and ejects.

Could your ejector have a small sliver of brass fouling it? I dunno since I havent got the problem ... but its what I would look at if I had a similar probelm

Hey guys , took it back it and the owner let me exchange it for a ruger gun site (With some cash added of course) He was going to send it in(And probably still is), I just said screw it and got rid of it, #### load of bad reports of the thing on the internet , and some of course praising it too. Being that there are not a #### load of them out there, and the amount of bad reports, I just washed my hands of it. With there being failure to ejects, double feeding two live rounds, and in the store, it was failing to extract, I just didnt want it lol.

Good to hear yours runs well AP, it is a pretty sweet little firearm, would have liked a heat shield for it myself.

Can-down, if it was the ammo, then I am happy I traded it, I got crates and crates of the norc 5.56 , so if its the ammo, then the gun is no good for me.

Cheers boys.
