problem with seating bullet to casing

Hi everyone,
So im having this issue as im seating the bullet into the casing, as you can see in the picture, the bullet on the left is coming out with a weird expansion around the neck of the casing as if the casing is being squished ....I tried loading a different brand of bullet and the same thing occurs.

I readjusted the seating height of the die thinking maybe the it was too compressed but it still occured, both rounds are set to the perfect height so it seats the OAL to be 3.340" as this is a load for 300 Winmag.
Die is a redding..

The bullet on the right is a factory load.

Any suggestions would or advice would be very welcomed.

Try running an empty case through the seating die as it is adjusted now without seating a bullet, the seating die should not touch the shoulder. If it does, it isn't adjusted properly.

Unscrew your seeting die a couple of turns, raise a empty case into the die fully. Screw donw the seating die until you feel it just touch the case mouth, then unscrew at least a turn. This will prevent trying to crimp while seating and pushing the shoulder/neck down. Adjust seating depth using seating stem.

I usually back the die off 1/4 turn to 1/2 turn, and it is more than adequate. I use a fire formed case to make the adjustment, so the shoulder is as far forward as it will go.
