Finally joined club and got to shoot my new Sig 1911 22LR...yes it is basically a GSG and I had one issue. When last shot was fired action failed to remain open about 95% of the time. I was shooting CCI Mini Mags and everything else seemed to perform right.
Anyone else have this issue or a remedy for it?

Mag follower would be my guess...if you don't have access to others..load them up with dummy's and see if the follower is contacting the slide stop....maybe try pushing up on the mag on the last round...congrats on the pistol..they are a lot of fun...you will sort it..

Near the end of session I started using the second magazine that came with it and it was better but not perfect. Will pay attention to hand positioning tomorrow.
So far ...other than this issue to figure out....very impressed with the gun. Accuracy is as good as the Target grade 22LR's we used in training.
Going to strip down and clean....I may have left a little extra oil on parts when I first cleaned when I first purchased.

I would give the part that secures the slide lock when the mag is empty and make sure it goes in firmly allowing the slide lock to stay in place.

The same thing happens on mine when I shoot Federal American Eagle High Velocity, 38Gr, Copper-Plated HP ammo. For the cost savings over shooting CCI mini mags, I just remember to count to 10.
