Problems with my FEG P9M

Just thought I would start this thread to find out of anyone else has had problems with their FEG P9M hammer falling forward to half #### when releasing the slide or while cycling amunition? I went to shoot my new Xmas present to my self and this happened quite a bit. If anyone has any answers or theory's on why this is hopping I would love to hear them. Thanks -Miller854
 
Hammer or sear could be out of alignment, or could just be some crud needs to be cleaned out. They are an easy pistol to detail strip, check online for guidance.
Did you get the spare parts pistol with your purchase or just the complete pistol?
 
He got the feg from me. I didn't even know it had a half #### so that never happened the one time I shot it. The safety is stiff as the dickens, maybe its not all the way off? Drop me a pm if you can't fix it with a cleaning.
 
Just striped the entire pistol down and the hammer still falls forward to half ####. So I'm going to take it to a gunsmith and see what they say. The sear does seam easy to trip when the hammer is pulled back.
 
Thumbing the slide closed on an empty chamber can damage the sear/hammer notch as well. Shouldn't be hard to find spare parts for these....
