I did a couple orders with them recently and noticed the same thing that there was one more thing in the cart then there should have been
After figuring out it was the shipping insurance it made sense but still kinda strange to put shipping insurance as a cart item

I'm sure there is probably an order summary message that has a full breakdown of the total. Sounds like someone is looking for free stuff. If we treat our venders this way we will lose them.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Seams like the guy was confused and acted without even doing the basic of looking things over before acting. TNA prob could have explained better initially and made things easier to understand.

I wouldn't assume he's looking for free stuff. The screenshot says 4 items, and it doesn't seem outlandish to me to think the OP thought he ordered 4 items given that fact.

Exactly, I can't recall ever seeing it listed as an item in my cart/order anywhere else. Sometimes online orders get shipped in multiple packages, or they dont have stock and do a partial refund, so I can understand why OP thought they bought 4 items, paid what they thought was the price for 4 items, and now is wondering why they only have 3 items in hand.

Benefit of the doubt, maybe the person is just really confused, that could be. But I think the point stands that coming on a public platform to shame the business on their own forum is unacceptable unless there is a very good reason.

Its clear from the first post that the guy did already contact the vender and was told he was only charged for 3 items. He says right in his post that the business is trying to get him to buy the extra item which tells us he thinks he already paid for it, but was not charged for it.

Regardless of jimbo45 motive my point is you want gun stores around right? Don't go publicly badmouthing them unless you are SURE they screwed you over, this type of post is irresponsible. New people can publicly read these forums without an account or anything.

I found the shipping cost to be quite high also. Coulda used a $20 flat rate box. Businesses are supposed to get better pricing. This shouldn’t have cost more than $15 to ship. They must be adding in handling fees into the shipping cost

100%. I learned NOT to rag on businesses regarding their shipping costs, as I was rung out by another CGN member who thought they knew best.

I asked another business about using a thing padded envelope to ship a spring/extractor and plunger for a 597, they replied back, explaining that the CP machines can crush or ruin parts or the envelope itself and basically had to do a refund regarding the sale.

I ordered the parts and was charged $16.55 in shipping fees, I really hope that it does not come in a padded envelope, and something similar to a CP Prepaid box, otherwise I'll be pretty disappointed. These are parts that could be put in a dimebag size ziplock, definitely not labour intensive packaging.
