O.K. so here goes it. Was working on some loads for my 460 wby on a ruger #1 today. The scope does not have enuff adjustment to bring the slug any lower then about 6 inches high of dead center.
I was running 405 grainers at 2400 fps,and the scope is a bushnell elite 3x9x40. The rings and base are ruger stock items and the rings must be high variety as the bell JUST clears the front of the mount.
Any ideas as to how to solve this problem...new rings,maybe a different base or?????
