Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum, so I apologize if I am not following etiquette I have not picked up on yet.
I am looking into getting a Kropatschek long rifle, and I have been doing quite some research on forming cases. Most use 348 WIN, or 50/110. I was wondering about using 45\70 as a parent case, as it is much more economical. Looking at the dimensions it is only 1mm smaller at the base, a rim .3mm less in diameter and a rim 0.1mm less in thickness. It is a tad short, but combining that with stretching during forming, and use of long bullets it would seem to be a non issue.

Anyone ever tried this?
Appreciate any replies
