I know this is an odd request, but is it possible for you to get armour piercing ammunition? Ideally in 30-06.

I take great joy in punching holes through steel plate, and I have a few thick pieces lying around the scrap pile.
Some 30-06 armour piercing would be just the thing for a special occasion.

I'd have to check, but I believe that anything that's marketed as armour piercing falls under the prohibited category of ammo - anything that just happens to be armour piercing is ok though.

My understanding of canadian law was that AP ammo in pistol calibers was prohibited.
Rife ammo should be kosher, unless something has changed very recently.

This has been an ongoing quest of mine for a while now :), no luck so far.
AP ammo seems to be very scarce here in Canada, I really wish someone would start bringing it in.
(if it can even be brought in?)

I'll check on it - it's not really hugely requested to be honest, but one of the stopping points is that everything needs to be certified by Natural Resources Canada before it hits the shelves here, and a lot of manufacturers in the US don't want the hassle, especially when they can't keep up with demand there.

I thought that might be the case...
If you ever happen to come across some, let me know.

The quest goes on!!!

Great suggestion - it's already in the planning. We'll be making a few changes to the website in 2014, including that, and bringing in free shipping (yeah, yeah... I know I've been saying that for a while!!).

I see the 357 magnum, the 38 special, and the 44 magnum on the website but have you ever thought about the 44 special, 460 S&W magnum or the 500 magnum ammo?

We are planning to expand the range of calibers we offer in 2014. We really don't get much demand for those specific ones, but we're definitely not against getting in a few cases!

Keep me posted Kate as I would love to have a one stop shop for all my needs. Now what about reloading supplies? Any thought about starting to supplies those items?

Sure thing :) Yes, we're planning to start bringing in reloading items in 2014. If you have a shopping list, let us know!

I apologize if it's already been mentioned; however are there any plans to expand your shotgun-related products? I know you have great deals on ammo and you're one of the only distributors to bring in the SOE micro-rigs plus shotgun cards, so it's piqued my interest to see what else you have planned for scatterguns in 2014?

We'll close this thread on December 31st and start a new one for 2014 - it's become a monster!

We'll be getting in more SCORE products in 2014, and hoping like hell that they have some 00 buck :) We'll be getting in low recoil slugs and shot, some 410ga, and more SOE gear!

We're also happy to order anything that people want on special order - noting that a lot of manufacturers are quoting 3-6 month lead times. Happily, SCORE is Canadian and has much shorter lead times, and amazingly high quality products. We have a lot of people trying their products, so I think they'll be doing good business in 2014 :)
