Production ###y

never ever think that a reshoot will go wrong, you're just setting yourself up for failure. Always think it will be better. Same with the first stage of the day, it's going to be your best one, you are clean at that point.

I love the look of the Tanfoglios, always have, but I hate the engraving. I hate cursive engraving period. On a gun like that it should be a type font of some sort.
That and and Tanfoglio is missing the boat with not having flush safeties available for those guns. I know a large number of people who would switch in a heart beat, especially now that the Eric trigger is legal and apparently a major improvement (I'll be having one installed in my Stock II)

Yeah not sure why when they are building guns specifically for production division they wouldn't supply a flat safety. Granted I find te geometry of the Tanfoglio safeties is a little better than the CZ. It has something to do with where the thumb pad is. I will accidentally put the safety on with CZs quite often, but with the Tanfoglios only very occasionally. In both cases the pad is below the pin that the safety pivots on and makes it a bit weird to operate. When I had my P9 it had a new custom pad welded on that was much higher and operated like a 1911 safety. If CZ or Tanfoglio would re-engineer the safety slightly they could keep the pad, not have to go to a flat safety and have a much more user friendly pistol.

Just shot the best group in my life at 25m with my Stock 2. By far my favourite gun now.

One or both eyes closed?

Hahaha. This is the one I was talking about on the IPSC forum. I always shoot with both eyes open but since Eric G shoots anything past 15m with one eye closed I thought I would try. Feeling really comfortable with my grip and trigger control I decided to try one eye shut and shot this group.
