Hey guys I came across a friends Video of a Sambar hunt from last year, I thought you CGNers would appreciate this guy a lot more than You do I, As he is all about the MEAT and the Free Range Harvest and I rekon it would give you more idea of the Size and the way us Aussies go about our Sambar.

So if you have a Spare 10 minutes, Check our 'Profty' out , he seems like a real genuine bloke who just loves the Bush and being out there amongst the Deer.

Dutch, there is no better time, realistically for Non resident you pay like $50 for a 'tag' and can hunt State forests and the Alpine national park and shoot as many as u can find..

if you can find them, if not you give me a call and we Tee up a guided hunt aand you shoot as many as I can find in your time.

haha

cheers lads

Absolutly , Thanks man I will try this from now on!!
I think every man needs a Whelen in the safe, weather he uses it or not is not the Question... :)

Interesting video. What kind of temps are you hunting in?
Hey Spank, oh well say today it was -2 degrees C this morning, and a springy Max of around 14 Deg C , I cant remember when Profty was hunting this specific one but you may see a Red Stags video he done, where they left the Animals until next morning and they were frozen solid, an that's up in 'Central' parts of NSW (half way up and inland a bit/east side) once u jump that Deviding range its just Red flat and dusty.... oh an hot.

I don't post a lot but I do love seeing the photos, videos and stories you post up. Please keep posting them!

Awesome man, Stoked you are enjoying my content, its cool too see variety! Thanks!

Its a way cool to learn about how people hunt and with what they hunt in other parts of Canada, but when guys share their hunting experience form another part of the world.
Well then I am just gob smacked at the brotherhood of the sport when it is shared from places across and down under unselfishly too I must add.
WL, keep up with the good times and Thank You for sharing ...
How about a beach excursion where you shoot some pics of fishing or pics of chicks surfing maybe ;)

Thanks Again for sharing,
Rob

I would never have expected you are hunting in much the same temps?! I was thinking you guys were hunting hot humid conditions and getting animals eviscerated and meat out of the bush would be a rushed proposition. Thanks for bringing me up to speed.
