Progressive press for precision reloads?

precision and progressive is an oxymoron.

I think true precision loads need a single stage press.

That said, I have turned out pretty good match ammo on a Dillon 550 and 650 using ball powder. The ball powder meters just about perfectly.

You can easily get 0.5 moa ammo out of a progressive. If you are chasing smaller groups, you might want single stage, but the only advantage I found was in powder charge consistency. It is slightly better to weigh each charge. Aside from that I see no advantage of single stage.
