Lol. Exactly.

Well my main point was - usually police or LEOs sniper situations are inside 100 meters and often trick shots , not centre mass military shots at 1000 or greater

I don't think LEO use it for long range so much. Rather special applications to defeat a medium or stop a hard target where a 308 wouldnt have sufficient terminal ballistics.
