Is not barrel length officially measured from closed breechface to muzzle, using a rod? Try it this way.

Prohibited by a hair

from what I have been told over the years if you are related to the owner of a now prohibited pistol you can inherit it due to being related ??? you might want to look into that.

my buddys father inlaw passed away in Toronto last year and as soon as he was prononced dead at the scene the police wanted to take all of his safely stored guns away from his home. they phoned me right away to ask me my opinion and I told them to inform the police that the executor of the estate has 1 year from his fathers passing or a reasonable amount of time to dispose of the said firearms.

so he has the same rights his father had. so the police were told to get lost. this happens quite often from what I have been told.

then you would know that the gun has to be made befor 1946 to be able to inherit it and be a blood Relations

So now the police are waiting on people to die? WTF??? They still trying to save us from ourselves, eh? Some LEOs shouldn't be working as LEO's, IMO, simply because they lack the intelligence to do a proper job. They don't know what the heck they're doing.:mad::mad:

The calipers look older than the gun

i had registered a P38 over the phone with the Alberta CFO, the person i was talking to was a certified verifier...easily done...

Make, model, serial#....they will tell you if it a prohib or not
