Prohibited to Restricted?

I've never made the change, but I've bought pistols that were changed by a gunsmith (Barry Jensen of Bits of Pieces) so that I could get them on my "restricted" license. Sometimes it happened in a week or two. Sometimes it took a month or more. Depends entirely on how you're doing it and where it's being done.

Ive had Barry do several and they only took about 10 days to be approved! The last one he did for me took about a year...it got tied up in that .25/.32 BS but did finally go through!

I re-did a buggered prohib Glock 23 into restricted last March and it only took about four days--I did bug them a bit, though. Maybe the time of year? Have you called on the status of the re-classification?

Are you talking about the gunsmithing?
There is the Christmas and New Years thing.
You will not get much done this time of year.
