I bought a 220 before x-mas. Never cared for the stock and have a small home milling machine and figured I could do better. So i made an aluminum bedding block and a wood stock from laminate birch. Here are some shots of the build progress.
Milling the bedding block

Bedding block with channels for JB weld to grip

Bedding block in the laminate inletting

Bedding block covered in JB weld before being fused in wood stock

Play-doh before bedding the action

Shaping of the laminate. It was all done with an angle grinder with heavy sandpaper

Action being bedded into stock
