That idea assumes 308 pistol mags will still be legal after the OIC amnesty ends - some people have floated the idea that if the OIC stands the fact it makes the XCR and AR pistols prohib would also make the 10rd mags prohib because there would no longer be a pistol that's commonly available that uses them. I'm pretty sure Ian Runkle did a video on this train of thought.

The fact that the legal status of those magazines going into the future is uncertain makes them a hard item to design a platform around.
 
Selection of match barrels with polygonal rifling for the MRA Maverick and Renegade 16~26"
Proprietary magazine with a COAL of 2.89" or longer that holds more than 10 rounds for the MRA Maverick
A quality PCC in 9mm, .45, and 10mm (non-restricted option if possible)
Any of those would be much appreciated if they come to fruition.
 
A bullpup 870 clone for longer barrel & mag tube in a shorter overall shotgun with balance closer to shooter. Action moves aft, trigger and pump extended forward to keep length-of-pull ergonomics.

(Since you're looking for non-semi suggestions I'm trying to think of fun manual actions.)

A pump-action Tommy gun could be a classic too. If it's not semi can we have the whole drum mag?
 
A straight-pull shotgun version of the MRA Maverick that takes 3" shells with a rifled barrel would be cool, along with some 20"-30" barrels. It'll be a nice slug-gun and something that's unique in the current market.

Expanding on the subject of a semi-auto PCC, something fun like being chambered for any of the magnum rounds, like .357 mag, .44 mag, .460 S&W, or .500 S&W too name a few. Would be a rad plinker for special days and can also be used for hunting.

A bolt action 9mm rifle available with different barrel lengths. Something to take plinking to the next level. I would love one that accepts 9mm AR stick mags but I assume most would want Glock mag compatibility.
 
Lightweight barrels for the wk180/MCR platform in 223, 300 blackout.
adjustable gas block and mid-length oprods for same
PPC's that take glock mags... in 9mm and 10mm
