Nordik,

If you want "look" and reliability... you could always try this 30 rounder sha-bang :D

Look for "Lazy R" on rimfirecentral...

They do. The newest gen of Drum seem to be working quite well in a wide variety of 10/22's. Does this mean it works in every 10/22...NOPE. But then, there isn't a mag produced today that does.

As fun gun said, these drums need to be loaded properly. They also need a lengthy break in period AND using bullets with a hard composition. I prefer the plated ones over the exposed lead. The Win exposed lead are the worse and jam in all my mags.

10/22 castings vary meaning not every mag fits in every action. Big reason TI has adjustments on their mag. Didn't do much in my 10/22 and has proven to not be as good as some good ole BC hotlips and the new Promag banana 32rd.

I have compared mag fit in a few 10/22 at the range and mags don't all fit the same way. A tight mag in my rifle may be loose in another and so on.

The improvements to the drum are definite as far as the thumb winder and geometry in the feed lips. You might run into a rough spot in the casting but then that is a common problem with all steel lipped mags, even the BC Steel lips.

Made from a very tough polymer, the Promag drum will handle far more range use then any 'plastic' mag. I would consider it as durable as the TI.

There is no doubt that many shooters have had problems with the older gens. The new drums that I have sold have certainly been well received with many a happy PM.

YMMV.
