Scoured the net for some info but could not find anything. I'd be interested to know more, specifically, when can we get them in Canada?

Try HiCal.ca They are the ProMag importer in Canada.

You bet, we just got back from shotshow, the Gen 4s will be ready in 4 weeks or so, they run flawlessly, 10 different types of .22 ammo, 5 different guns, great results! Finally.... We suggested making the new feed lips gray, so you can tell the difference from the older style, stay tuned, we will be bringing in lots!

Is the new generation feed lip assembly interchangeable with the gen 3 mag body? Were there any changes made to the mag body itself?

Yes, the lips will fit the older mags, the benefit of replaceable lips! We will have them available separate as well , of course.
