She's gonna notice it tho, lol....better get ready for some sucking up. But first...to the range. Im already in trouble so what the hell.

Nice paint....would be nice to see a pic without foliage filtered light though. Makes the pic fuzzy

Will take a couple more pics in different light but I want the paint to work in the woods and it seems to. I did a whole lot of overspraying to make it look fuzzy.

Well it blends good, "fuzzy" is what good cammo does.
I'm simply saying that to take cammo out of its intended environment for picture references would help us see your work.

There you go. sorry the pics are crap but the flash quit on the camera so its outdoor light

Going to redo the scope.....maybe.

what kind of tan paint did you use?? i like the shade of tan!

Doesnt say what shade or product id...Just grabbed it off the shelf at CrappyTire. Krylon Rattle Can Camo Ultra Flat Tan. There was only black, green, brown and tan. 6 bucks and some old scrim and 30 minutes. Did NOT like all that black, sort of looked wrong?

Think I like paintin more than shootin..........NAh :)

That sir, is an impressive looking rig with your handi work applied, fantastic job ;)
Lot's of guys fear the spray can hehehehe
I'm not currently a dealer so I'm not offering this service by posting this but, I do a ghost camo with krylon and Cedar bows. Stripe your stock and handguard with alternating brown and OD green. Grab some cedar bough and with it 1/4 inch above the work, in short gentle bursts of paint, apply kahki to the work. Let it dry for 10 mins, flip it over and repeat. I set it up so the handguard is in the correct position each time. With the work horizontal.
Next apply brown in the same fashion. 10 min dry, then black , dry, then OD green. The touch up light or dark areas with your preference of colour.
Let her dry for several hours, the finish with a few coats of a clear matte laquer such as Rona brand.
Variations of the above can be easily dreamed up and applied with your choice of foilage or templates and colours. ;)
Doing it yerself is fun so don't be afraid of the paint ;)

Ahh a kindred spirit. I actually took the dog for a walk in the woods and came back with a handful of whats growing, to do exactly as you describe, but then I found the old scrim :) I like your style mate, building layers eh and hey if it goes wrong, base coat er and av at it again eh. The only thing in this world that really scares me is the wife
Oh and some of the stuff that grows in the woods around here would NOT make a suitable template eh LMFAO...and thanks all for the kind words...the Old Fart plods on...
