I got a promag mag for my .44 desert eagle and it is way to tight. you go about half way then it gets real tight and you have to pound it in. once its in you cant pull it out by hand anymore.
has anyone else had this problem with there magazines in other guns?

i'm thinking of writeing the company.

Have a few promags for my 92FS...one held eleven rounds brand new, over the counter...fixed that but I almost got an FTDR in IDPA for it, everyone else brought it to my attention that I had fired twelve shots (11+1) instead of 10+1 (I hadn't noticed).

Fixed now, rest assured ten rounds. Haven't had any other trouble with the ProMags. But this thread suggests they might have some QC issues.

I ordered a couple of PRO MAGS for my P225 last year and had to send them back to Brownells. The mags, one 8 rounder and the other a 10 rounder were seated too high in the mag well, thus preventing the slide to go into battery. The gunsmith I talked to over the phone at Brownells suggested I swap out the mag springs for heavier ones.I felt that a magazine that was NIB shouldn't have to be altered in order to work.So back they went;at least Brownells was good on their return policy.

i have a promag for my .50ae desert eagle. the things awful, it wont feed at all and the last time i tried, it jammed in the gun and i couldnt get it out.
