ive done some reading/google'n on how to adjust the trigger, alot of the info is for the old style trigger.

id like to PROPERLY set the overtravel, sear timing and pull weight... ive lowered the pull weight but find its somewhat inconsistant.
 
it's a good trigger and if you have you hand grown properly, you can adjust this trigger in a very reasonable way :)

the same way as an old trigger, nothing from a rocket science :)
 
Derek__Erickson, i did the same for my 700p.

they are designed to change the pull weight by backing out the pull weight screw with no other adjustment. just make sure to test the trigger after by slamming the bolt closed 10 times, holding the rifle by the barrel and bounding it from a height of 6 - 8 inches 10 times, and setting it to safe, pulling the trigger hard ( remember to release the trigger ;) ) and then setting it to fire. if the pin drops on any of these, increase the weight.
